International Rubber Conference
The Rubber Division, ACS, is honored to welcome the International Rubber Conference Organization (IRCO) Delegates and international attendees to the International Rubber Conference (IRC 2017 CLEVELAND). It has been a short ten years since the United States last hosted the conference. Rubber Division, ACS is proud to be able to host this again, in conjunction with our International Elastomer Conference. Cleveland, seems the perfect location to host this event because, the Midwestern region has been the heart of the rubber industry for decades, evolving over the years into new dimensions and partnerships. Rubber Division, ACS has also evolved and expanded technology exchange and educational opportunities into the many facets of the industry today.
What is IRCO?
The International Rubber Conference Organization (IRCO) is an association of rubber societies around the world which plan the calendar for the main international rubber conferences. By careful selection of conference proposals and monitoring of events, the IRCO ensures that all conferences run by its member societies meet the very demanding requirements dictated by the IRCO and thus provide delegates with first-class conferences. The Rubber Division represents the United States as a member of the IRCO. Both organizations maintain the same overriding goal for the conference: to provide a venue for global sharing of technology and research as well as business networking opportunities.
